Walking into something new can feel uncertain — especially when it involves your body. Whether you’ve heard about Spinology before or are just beginning to explore natural spinal care, it’s completely normal to wonder: “What actually happens at a session?”

This post walks you through what to expect at your first visit to Justin Birchall Spinology, from arrival to aftercare — so you can feel confident, informed, and completely at ease.

A Warm, Calm Welcome

When you arrive at the clinic, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful, relaxed space — designed to help you feel grounded from the moment you walk through the door. There’s no rush, no clinical feel — just respectful, one-on-one care in a quiet environment.

Your first visit is a chance for us to get to know each other, and for your body to begin relaxing into this gentle new rhythm of care.

What Happens During a Spinology Session?

Spinology sessions are very different from what you might expect at a chiropractor or physio. Here's what they don't include:

  • No forceful cracking or twisting

  • No medical diagnosis

  • No treatments or machines

Instead, Spinology focuses on gentle spinal checks and light contacts at specific areas of your spine to support the body in releasing tension naturally. You’ll lie comfortably on a special Spinology table, fully clothed, while I work with your spine in a very gentle, non-invasive way.

Most sessions take around 15–20 minutes, though your first visit may take a little longer to allow time for questions and conversation.

How to Prepare

There’s no special prep needed — but here are a few tips:

  • Wear comfortable clothing (no tight belts or bulky layers)

  • Arrive a few minutes early so you’re not rushed

  • Be open — Spinology is gentle, but powerful. Let your body relax into the experience

How Will You Feel Afterwards?

Everyone responds differently. Some people feel lighter and clearer straight away. Others notice subtle changes over time — like better sleep, improved posture, or a shift in how their body feels during the day.

Spinology isn’t about “quick fixes” — it’s about long-term support that helps your body restore its own rhythm over time.

Common Questions

“Will it hurt?”

Not at all. Spinology is gentle, respectful, and safe for all ages.

“How many sessions will I need?”

That’s up to you. Spinology isn’t a treatment plan — it’s a supportive rhythm of care. Many people choose regular sessions as part of their overall wellbeing.

“Is this safe for kids or older adults?”

Yes — it’s gentle enough for everyone, and many families choose Spinology together.

Your Body, Respected

At Justin Birchall Spinology, care is always centred around you — your body, your rhythm, and your readiness to heal. Your first visit is simply the first step in helping your body feel safe, aligned, and supported from the inside out.
